Costume and Makeup:

The protagonist and our main character, Sophie and the other characters will not be wearing make-up as it is not vital to our trailer. If they are wearing make-up it will be minimal and natural. However, the main character, Sophie, will be wearing mascara to make her eyes stand out more and it will help when we film extreme-close up of her eyes. Sophie does not need to wear lots of make-up as she is representing a ‘normal’ teenage girl. However, as shown in the picture, she will have a birthmark/tattoo on her wrist which represents her ability to time travel and the bond between herself, her mother and her grandmother. Due to the fact that we are not using much make-up, the audience can focus more on the narrative of the trailer rather than the appearance of the main character which is what we want. She will also just be wearing jeans and shirts/t-shirts and a coat as we want Sophie to represent a ‘normal’ teenager so we do not need her to wear any costumes as the costume is not that important to our trailer.
